We just learned that long-time Lakeland School nurse, Margaret Wagner, passed away February 26th. Mrs. Wagner was the school nurse for all 5 buildings at Lakeland. An incident involving a car backfiring was called in to law enforcement as shots fired at Jr/Sr High. Law enforcement responded quickly, and were at their highest level of alert as they investigated. Safety protocols were followed. Students were not in danger. Again, we thank our local law enforcement for their quick action to keep Lakers safe!
